Real Talk… Poetry by Hussein Ali Hill-Johnson

Real Talk

My people perish for lack of knowledge of self and our true history is not on their library’s shelf

Our modern music misleads our youth with prevented versions of the truth

So they turn to booze, weed, coke and dope instead of finding betters ways to cope

Or they join gangs which are our resident evil and become pawns in our spiritual upheaval

Princes and Principalities are the real puppet masters and the architects of all man made disasters

I know how difficult it is to “walk the walk” and that all of the above is “real talk”
